hello!! Hope all is ok back home! I am in queenstown at the moment, which is in the south of the south island. It is known to be the party capital of new zealand and that turned out to be true! Went out last night and am rather hung over today!

Since i did my skydive i left taupo and went to wellington, which to be honest is just a city and there wasnt to much there, so just stayed for 1 night and all i did there was go to the museum, which was cool and also free which is a bonus! After that i headed to the south island, got the 3 hour ferry to picton and got back on the bus and headed to nelson which is the sunshine capital of new zealand and it was really nice weather when i was there. Here i met a couple of girls who are physios! I have been travelling with them ever since, so its been good! from nelson i went sea kayaking in abel tasman national park which is beautiful and that was good fun. I then headed to hokitika where i did a bone carving! it took a couple of hours and i did keep scratching my hand on the power tools!! but i made myself a cool necklace!

Then i headed to franz josef, which is where the glacier is. I was meant to do the glacier hike the day i got there, but it was raining so hard i really didn't want to do it, so i ended up staying an extra night and doing it the next day...i am so glad i waited because the next day was much better weather. The walk was a five hour hike and was quite hard work and i have the most awful blisters on my heels because u have to wear these massive army boots and they were a bit big for me so they hurt like hell! But it was worth it, as the glacier was really awesome!

Spent a night in lake wanaka after franz josef which is a really pretty place...in fact everywhere in new zealand is, especially the south island. the landscape is amazing..even queenstown which is a reasonably big town is on the side of a massive lake with mountins.

As i said it was a bit of a crazy night last night so i may have forgotten some things, but i think i've told u guys most of what i have been up to! Off to dunedin in a couple of days, and am there for st patricks day!

oh and i managed to get tickets for crusaders v warratahs!!! So hopefully i will get to see dan carter!!!!
