I was very angry when the Dutch (?) boys staying in our dorm were so rude as to come back from their night out, making absolutely no effort to be quiet, and even talking to each other in foghorn voices, and I didn't manage to get back to sleep after, although maybe partly because I was being sick still. This meant I couldn't go along with Alice, to do my final 2 dives which would qualify me as a PADI Open water diver. I was still determined to take the exam though, as then I'd be a PADI scuba diver, and so would only need to do my last 2 somewhere else to get the qualification. So, despite being sick half way through (and spilling it through the holes in my 7-eleven bag) I soldiered on through and managed to pass.
Since I had checked mine and Alice's bags out, I had nowhere really to wait so slept in the Sairee Hut office (where our course is). Eddie and Adina came along so that they could start up again tomorrow, and Adina suggested I had a coconut, which seemed to do the job.
After Alice had come back, and we had filled in all the paperwork, we jumped in the open backed taxi to the pier to get our ferry to Koh Phangnan. I was scared I was going to be seasick but it actually rocked me to sleep and made me feel slightly better.
We are the only ones in our hostel dorm, and it's a really good room, which even includes free toiletries! I'm quite glad I can recover privately tonight!
I was starting to feel a bit peckish, so we went out for dinner, and I got a massive calzone pizza which should do us for lunch tomorrow as well! The restaurant also had bungalows to rent, and I used the toilet in one, and sort of wish I hadn't as the room was so nice, and the toilet was really cool as it was outside, although enclosed, and there were trees planted around, so felt all natural.
