We just had a beach day today, although it wasn't too hot, and there were a few clouds in the sky. When it started to get a bit too cold, we walked to Whole Foods, where I had a dinner of kale, cranberry and dried apple salad, lobster soup and strange tasting almond milk yoghurt. It was yummy but a bit pricey! I also brought some kale chips, tomatoes, veggie burgers and coconut water, and as we were passing the other (cheaper, less healthy) supermarket, brought some Ben and Jerry's for our trip to the cinema later, with the Brazilian and Portuguese couple from our room, and also Minnie the Kiwi girl.
I was excited to go to an American cinema, but it wasn't really that much different to an English one. We went to see Neighbours, with Seth Rogan, Zac Efron and the woman you're not supposed to like in Bridesmaids, who was putting on a really bad Australian accent, but it was quite funny. Our Ben and Jerry's (peanut butter with Reese's cups, Heath chocolate chunks, white chocolate and fudge covered almonds wasn't the best, but we also got to have some of Minnie's leftover chocolate fudge brownie. We walked past the shops, which is dangerous as I now want to visit them!
