Eagerly hopping off the bus after being stopped by the police and a gentleman was ordered to open his bags or bribe the policeman, our smiles quickly turned to frowns observing the grey sky. Pleased with our choice of hostel, right on the beach and made entirely of open wooden-decked terraces we knew it would be the perfect place to chill. Getting an early night after a lengthy meal at a local beach hut, we thought how wearing flip flops finally made us feel like we were on a real holiday.
Awaking to find the grey sky had not shifted, we wandered to the historical centre of this small town enjoying the cobbled pedestrian streets and self-service ice cream parlours despite the cold weather! Jamie and Emma continued their pursuit for a dive shop whilst we all chose a boat trip for the next day, hoping the weather would clear and we could finally catch some much-needed rays.
