I had a very brisk bike ride to the 7-11, but to little avail. No Slurpees. Also no foods I recognized. i got some cold ginger noodles and water and biked back to the hostel. Soon after I packed my bags and headed to the airport. I got on board a 7 hour flight to Singapore. The flight was surprisingly worse than the 14 hour flight. I missed my premium upgrade pretty badly. A 10 year old kid ran up and down the aisle for all 7 hours, stopping only to LICK the lavatory door handles.
I was going stir crazy 3 hours into the flight so when we landed I was thrilled. The hot, muggy air hit me immediately, it's as thick as wet wool blankets. Singapore is so beautiful. Tropical, very green, filled with huge silver skyscrapers.
I loved looking out the windows as we made our way to the hotel. I checked in and took a quick shower before heading off to dinner with a few ladies from the trip, including my new roommmate Melanie. We ended up at a little Italian place (Asian people love Italian for some reason) for pizza, not good pizza, just overpriced pizza.
After dinner we headed back for a sme unpacking and relaxing before we all went to bed early.
