Another long day of lectures, about 7 hours, much more interesting today, less macroeconomics, more politics and development.
After classes I went out with Jason, Megan and April to the night Safari. I led the pack to the fish pedicaure shop at the safari. We spent 10 minutes feeding the doctor fish with our worn out feet. The fish come eat teh dead skin cells off your feet, leaving them nice and smooth. It's really just a shop with two huge fish tanks full of doctor fish. There was lots of shouting and giggling. i was like the pied piper, i had probably 40+ fish covering my feet, most people had 3 or 4. I had a whole audience staring at my feet and askign to take pictures. My gnarly feet are now world famous. It became a trend and half our study group decided to join in. I'm determined to find these fish for my house (please Xena, please, can I have doctor fish to eat my feet).
After that adventure we went to the animal show where they brought out hyenas and lemurs and sloths, then they brought Jason up on stage and wrapped a 20 foot python named Maggie around his shoulders. It was great until Maggie started to wind around his legs and up his shorts!
The night Safari is super cool. They have a rainforest and animal reserve that has a an open zoo style format adn they drive trams through the trails at night using special safety lights that don't hurt the animals eyes so you can see all the noctural animals, especially those that like to hunt at night. So cool.
After that, back to the hotel for sleep.
