We started the morning off with the tourist-filled Tower of London. Rocío was most impressed by the age os some of the inscriptions done by prisoners during the 1600's while Constanza thought the castle are was huge.
Afterwards, we went to a tea shop for a cup of "afternoon tea" and a delicious fresh scone with clotted cream and strawberry jam.
From there we found a small farmer's market and tried some bread samples and strawberry juice samples. We then passed by the hostel to pick up our novels so that later in the day we could lay down on the grass of a park and read.
We also went to the rather large National Gallery where Rocío saw a painting that she recognized from her humanities book in high school!
To round off the day, we went to a concert at St Martin-in-the-Fields. There was a choir and classical orchestra playing music from Handel.
While waiting for the concert, Rocío enjoyed herself people-watching. So many people have such good tastes in clothes that it's like watching a moving fashion magazine!
