What a beautiful sunny day!
First we walked over London Bridge and saw Big Ben. Then, we went to Westminster Abbey, the anti-climactic changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace, and China town (where Rocío got a red bean-filled moon pie).
We saw Trafalgar Square and St. Martin-in-the-Fields.
We finally found Tate Britain where we saw some beautiful paintings from the 1800s as well as some modern knitted (?) "art" paintings.
Then, after asking 3 friendly old ladies sitting on a bench gossiping, we made it to Westminster Cathedral for a Vespers (choir) that was either two songs or we were sitting in the wrong part of the church.
As you can guess, our feet are quite tired, so we're taking it easy tonight.
At one point while Rocío was in a store looking at some lovely jewelry, Constanza mentioned that the only thing she would pay money for right now would be for her execution (this was during the longer-feeling part of the day). No worries, she is now excited about strawberry flavored water and prawn layered salad for dinner.
Side note: we passed within 2 feet of Joe Jonas (of the Jonas Brothers). We didn't realize we both recognized him until 2 seconds after he passed both of us. It took us each about 3 double takes. Rocío made definate eye contact.
Now we are planning on seeing Jude Law walking down the street...
