We didn't mention it yesterday, but it was a cloudy day with mild showers scattered throughout the day. Today, however, was sunny without one cloud. The temperature is a high of 98 but is currently 93. So, obviously, today was perfect for ice cream.
We went to Madrid's best ice cream parlor. (Not the one with 82 flavors as Rocio had told me!) Rocio had the "Healthy" special. (That's what it was called). It consisted of yogurt ice cream with dried fruits and nuts covered with honey and muesli and shredded choclate. On the side it had two cookie straws! The other more price cautious sister had a cone of Marscapone y Frutos del Bosque. Yummy!
It must be noted that we only got these ice cream delights AFTER we walked for two hours in the interesting Museo Thyssen-Bornemiza and a few hours in Retiro park where we saw the Crystal Palace.
Apart from ice cream, walking, parking, and museuming, today was filled with declarations of love. Steven's competition: 3 six year old boys. We met them as we were waiting to cross the street. One boy took his imaginary hat off for us while the braver one of the three, the one holding his mom's hand, flat out called us "guapas." After some whispers, the brave one then asked us our names which we readily gave. (By we, I mean Rocio). Although our relationship didn't last long (we had to cross the street), we were met with whistles only ten minutes later down a differet street. We both agree that those boys made our day.
Later tonight we are going to a ballet at Zarzuela. We shall report our critics tomorrow.

Papi Hey ! be careful of the Spanish guys. Suggestion; write an R: or a C: at the beginning of the paragraph, so is easier to know who is writing, and you don't need to clarify all the time. Ya probaron unas tapas? Besos
Christy Watch out for those little boys, they could be dangerous! It sounds like you are having fun... miss you both!
