We yet again woke up at the crack of 4 am to go hot air ballooning above beautiful Lake Tahoe. Now this was not ballooning for the faint of heart. Think: 30 degree frozenness, 3000 foot heights, and touch and go water dipping in a frozen lake. We thoroughly enjoyed launching off a boat and having a champagne mimosa toast to the hot air ballooning creed. Overall it was amazing. After the balloon ride, we continued our search for a FLEECE jacket. Our adventure took us to Heavenly Village to the most amazing store ever: Northface. The racks were filled with rows and rows of fleece amazingness. After finally picking up my fleece, I was definitely a happy warm camper. After that, we got ready to hit the town and experience local culture, so we headed to McP's. It was here that we met our companions for the night, Tory and Chris, who were just going to grab a beer and see what happened. Boy were they in for a treat. We headed over to Stateline Brewery where we discussed the pros and cons of driving to Truckee and chest bumps versus high fives. Chris claimed chest bumps are always better and proceeded to tell us if ever we were to chest bump we should " chest bump like a butterfly not like like a ram". We talked them into taking the trip to Truckee with us and we enjoyed the most delectable meal at Dragonfly a fusion restaurant where we munched on sushi and amazing appetizers. We ended the night at Montbleau Casino where Dre and I proved roulette was not our game as our lost $50 proved.
