Villa El Salvador, 26/10/2009
Yesterday I learned something new.. NEVER go diving in the Pacific Ocean in Perù.. Even though Perù is close to the Equator, the temperature of the water is 15 DEGREES!!! I was freezing my ass.. The fish and nature were fantastic though: algae which were 10 meters long (I swam through them), huge crabs, stone fish, star fish, morays etc.
I was with Peter, who was comfortable with the temperature, since he had been diving in Denmark and he was apparently used to it..The Viking Man! I might be a chicken, but it was soooooo cold for me.. I came home as an ice cube..Only diving in the Caribbean Sea for me from now on. ;-)
This is last week with my two English classes. I will start with two new classes in November. It is a shame because we have great time together.. Today my students walked me home since I was afraid of the wild dogs in the street (I got almost attacked by three dogs today). I had 8 happy bodyguards with me on my way home. :-)
Mari (the lady in the family) will soon bring me to a tour around Villa El Salvador. She said we will be safe if I bring my camera, so soon picture of the place in which I live!
Kisses, hugs and pinches ;-)
