Today we drove out to the Kings Canyon, it took over an hour to get there. When we got there we looked at the walks, one had a section called 'heart attack hill' it has 500 steps cut into the rock face. We decided to do the climb, so Dad, Uncle Mark, Ethan and I headed up the steps, Ethan tripped up the second step, which was kind of funny. Half way up the steps we stopped at a look out and waved to Nana, Mum and Charlotte. On the rocks all the way through there were ripples, they were caused by moving water which was covered with sand that over time had turned to rock. We went to a look out and saw the cliffs of the canyon from the top, when we walked around we could see water at the end of the canyon. It was fantastic to see. Mum, Nana and Charlotte decided to do the Kings creek walk, because Nana didn't think she could make it up all those steps. When we finished we drove back to Lasseters campsite and set up for the night. I was so tired I had dinner in bed and went to sleep.
