Today we arrived at Marla. On the way we stopped to look at an amazing place called the Breakaways, it has weird shaped land and hills that have been created because the top of the ground is really hard and the land around it erodes away. Marla is a road house in the middle of nowhere. We stayed in a caravan park there. It has swimming pool that is not open. It sucks! Today we arrived at Coober pedy. We found an underground hotel and stayed there for the night. It was cool. That night we went out to a restaurant. I had pizza with dad. YUM Hawaiian, my favourite! After dinner we went back to the hotel and went to bed. Because I lost my tooth yesterday and we were in the middle of nowhere I put my tooth in a bag on the bed side table. Today we drove to this place on the side of the rode called Banana Bend. On the way I lost one of my teeth. We didn't do much there apart from sit around the fire, collect stick and watch the sun rise. That night dad, Charlotte and I had to sleep in the tent and mum and Ethan slept in the car. In the morning we packed up and drove to Coober pedy
Today we drove to Andamooka. On the way we stopped at Woomera where we saw an old missle. We went to Roxby Downs and Olimpic Dam which is a big mining community. The sand is very red there. We stayed in the middle of town. The place we stayed at had a park, BMX track, skate ramp and a noddling aera. (Were you find opals.) There I found 2 opals and dad found 1 but gave it to me. It was fun. We looked at some old underground shacks that miners used to live in. They...
Today we arrived at Port Augusta. On the way we used a ferry to get across the murray, we stopped at burra and visited an old copper mine and we also stopped at a huge gumtree that wasn't tall, but was really really wide. It is over 500 years old. We found a caravan park and stayed there for the night. We could see the Flinders Rangers from there, It looked amazing.
