L & L Shenanigans
We arrived in Mount Vernon, Washington early Friday morning to spend some time with Lewis's parents, sister, brother, brother-in-law, niece, nephew, and uncle. Western Washington is breathtakingly beautiful, but man is it cold... and damp. Spending time with family is special, particularly when it happens so rarely. In a wonderful turn of events my sweet Hanna and her husband Mark-Phillip happened to be visiting her parents in the area for the weekend, so we met for coffee before church. If you ever happen to be in Sedro-Woolley, Washington stop by the Woolley Market. They have delicious freshly baked pastries, and a sufficient hipster vibe to remind you that, while you're in a small town you are indeed still in the trendy Northwest. Sunday is laundry day for us, and Mother's Day here in the U.S., we won't let Nancy or Alina do our laundry. We leave early Monday for Portland, Oregon.
