And we're back in Dublin! Once again, Luke met us at the airport, and we went back to his apartment before heading out for another long day of touring. We saw The Garden of Remembrance, a delicious donut shop (not quite as good as Cincinnati donuts - seriously, go check out Ms. Cheri's in Milford, Holtman's in Goshen or Over-The-Rhine, or Marcella's in Batavia if you want the best donuts in the world - but still pretty good), a modern art gallery, a castle, a decent pastry shop, and eventually a beautiful rainbow. Between Friday's tours and Sunday's tours of Dublin we walked just over 20 miles. We were tired by the end of the day. The next day Luke let us sleep in and he headed into work. We didn't have much time before we had to head to the airport, but we were able to get packed back up, take a walk down by the water, and get sandwiches at a little shop near the library before heading back to the airport one more time. We were flying on Ethiopian Air; they got us checked in, and were really some of the friendliest staff members we interacted with. After checking in, Luke met us in the airport and we had a sandwich and made plans for our next visit in December, before saying our goodbyes. I was not looking forward to the long journey back the Malawi, but I was glad that our whirlwind tour was winding down. Including layovers we had taken 20 flights (12 separate trips) in the previous 30 days.
