Today was our first full day in Venice!! Today our program took a day trip to Hadrians villa, then we had a delicious Italian lunch that made all of us so stuffed! Following that we went to the Villa d'este, which was a giant mansion with beautiful gardens with waterfalls everywhere! We wondered what Independence Day would be like over here in Italy but it was comforting to celebrate with a BBQ at school today and meeting other students studying at our university!
