Well I finally arrived at Perth airport at 11.10 after an amazing flight where I had 3 seats all to myself and was chatting away to Patrick, an Ozzie from Perth who had been working rtw! He lent me a singaporian dollar so I could get a drink with my plane meal and then bought me a wine and peanuts whilst I fed his ego by feeling his muscles! I was let through without my bags being scanned so it was a quick process!!! I managed to get my 320 cigarettes in even tho the Llowance was 250, im a jammy dodger! The feeling walking out was one of anxiety!!! Bearing in mind I'd had one phone conversation with owen whilst lying in phi phi beach a week ago and had received one email from him since, I had no clue what he looked like and he'd only seen pics of my on a horse in my hat, good job he was there, ready and waiting with a huge sign with my name in it! He waited whilst I purchased an Australian sim card and we chatted about horses and headed out to the car! The areal on his wagon resembles a fence post and he says it gets him a signal even in the outback! It took 3/4 hour to get from the airport to the ranch in wooroloo and I learnt that we will be getting up at 6 am to go out riding down an old railway line, although we won't see any kangaroos as they don't live near there! Owen shoes, clips all his horses himself and has just bought a 20 horse lorry, that's wot were taking out at the weekend!!!
Owen made me a boil in the stove pot of tea, gave me some Oreos, introduced me to their two pet corgis, showed me to my room (where I have pictures of elvis Presley on the wall), it's as if they knew I was coming and told me he'd give me a shout in the morning!
