What to say about San Francisco - not much - saw a tramp pissing in the middle of the street mid afternoon. Adelaide Hostel was not worth what we paid, being in a ten men dorm with an extremely annoying eastern European man who seemed to know the answer to everything and expressed it at 5 am when everyone is asleep. The first day was fun, went down to see Alcatraz prison and the golden gate bridge, sadly it was cloudy so did not get a good glimpse on the red stuff! Then we had fish and chips on pier 39 -very nice! Followed by going on a run with Ed - never again in San Francisco, there area a few hill/mountains everywhere! The night out with the bar crawl - interesting! Few bars to begin with, couple of beers going south made the night more lively. In the first club met some kiwis, interesting! Pat - nowhere to be seen, chatting football with another Man U fan! Ed, Tim and I found ourselves talking to a very over charismatic guy and a chinese hen do - who invited us back to a house party! No joke Mtv cribs pent house! The night was completed with a subway! Ed then followed by getting in a us army guys bunk. Hungover next day saw a few burritos and some shopping - very cheap Abercrobie and All Saints!!
Sunday saw us play golf in Sacramento, all is too play for now with Tim having an unexpected win. Some sunburn, was hot on the drive into Tahoe. Very nice hostel and pretty cheap. Looks like some kayaking and then maybe a pre-vegas warm up in the Casino! Also its shark week on the discovery channel in the US - so its all gravy!!!
