First of all thanks for the birthday messages! George Bull and the 'Wise Owl' Pat Simpson blogging here! A good place to start will be the birthday night in Santa Barbra. Living it up in luxury The Lemon Tree Inn, which Chaucer was overwhelmed with the average luxuries available, followed by blocking the toillet - which ended up overflowing with his s***. Few beers and a 2 litre bottle of rum, early start on the hooch led to an very early finish and a forgetful night, apart from wierd Ed being rejected from three venues. Following morning saw a few large burritos followed by a round of golf! Leader board was Pat, George, Latham and Tim did not get a recognised score. Boring massive drive in the fog and a windy road up a cliff had us kip in a motel in the middle of no-where on the big-sur. Following morning big sur was foggy - saw nothing and again a classic drive from Bull - something like a horror movie! Today went round a load of beaches trying to find a good surf and it was all s***! The best bit of the day was from Santa cruz, we had a danger game of fives for a bottle of Rum before San Francisco. Pat lost and just finished it - wasted!!
Malibu is also below average, would rather surf in Canterbury!
Few big nights coming forth - Pub crawl with other hostel goers tomorrow night! Roll on the future!
