Nice was absolutely beautiful! Once we got over the fact that the beach is covered in stone, we really enjoyed it.
When we arrived we walked along the English Promenade which goes pretty much around the entire edge of the beach.
The second day was my birthday, once we got off Skype, we went for a walk and picked up some French baguettes for lunch and ate them at the outside seats at the hotel, we then went down to the beach for the afternoon and drank mojito’s, the beach was lovely, but the heat that was radiating off the stones was incredible, so the water was sweet relief once we got in. Just before we left the beach Jason got stung by a random jelly fish in the water, I offered to pour pee on his arm, but he said he’d be fine!
We then packed up and headed back to the hotel and then went to find something to eat, we were both so tired from the beach, we just ended up having McDonalds and going back to the hotel and having an early night..
The last day we were in Nice, we went up to the Chateau (a mountain next to the main beach) and had a picnic, it was such beautiful views and very peaceful.
We then walked to Nice Port and had a look at some of the super cruisers and walked to the English shop so we could get a new supply of vegemite, but because it was Sunday, it was closed (oh well, next time), we also found an Australian bar that sold Bundy Rum, but we didn’t stay to have any.
We then went back to the hotel, got our swimmers and headed to the beach for the afternoon.
