Lake Louise

Today we headed to Lake Louise which is roughly an hour away from Sunshine for a day of boarding. The conditions were not too my liking.. very compacted with major blue ice patches. My first run was hell! I managed to slip every ice patch and come down like a sack of potatoes, I have many bruises to show for it. By the time I got to the bottom I was ready to go home! I was slowing Kyle down so I told him to do a few runs and let me recover. I then met up with Matt and Ra (Matt works with me in the Deli) and Matt decided he was up for the challenge of improving my carving abilities. I don't think he realized I had no ability till we got to the top. One run later and I was carving like a professional (well not really but I carved without falling over)! Kyle and Matt were very impressed at my improvement. Overall Kyle and I had a great day, however the next couple of days when the bruises started coming out.. it wasn't so nice!
