Kya Travels
We woke up this morning to an empty house. Pancho and Nina had never come back! I assume they stayed at Nina's! We stayed in bed for most of the morning, then around lunchtime Pancho came back with fresh rolls for a cheese and bread style breakfast. We ate some food and drank some tea, then played some guitar and wrote a song about a fog machine, which we thought was hilarious. When we were ready Pancho drove us out to Freidbaumpark, where we went for a nice walk through the trees, past the lake (with humongous ducks!) and found a sunny spot in the grass where we sat down and played some music. We took some photos, which looked pretty cool, and an old style German music band started playing across the park. I fell asleep in the sun for a bit too, it was so nice and relaxing. After a while we walked back around the lake and back to the car where we drove to Nina's to pick her up as she needed to borrow Pancho's car. She dropped us off in the street back in the south side and we went for a walk down to the football stadium. We walked around a bit having a look, and got a cool rhino photo before heading next door to the athletic track. We got some snacks, drinks and lollies there then went to sit in the sun by the track and chilled there for a while. When the shadow from the stadium caught up with us we left and walked back to Pancho's place where we chilled out for a while and watched The Big Lebowski with English subtitles. When Nina got back from uni we went together to an Indian restaurant for dinner. The waitress came over and told us she spoke English, and Pancho and Nina were so relieved! We were all pretty tired and I know it must be hard for them speaking English all the time! Poor things! It was pretty funny to see that reaction though! The food was pretty nice, but it was nothing like any Indian place I've ever been to, seemed more like an Indian/Asian fusion kind of place. After dinner everyone was pretty wrecked, and we were still trying to get over our flu's, and Nina was just starting to get sick too, so we got back in the car and Pancho dropped us off at the end of his street before driving back to stay at Nina's place. We walked up the street past an ambulance that looked like they were treating a woman for a heart problem, then went inside and chilled out for a while with the guitar then went to bed.
