Just another little update! Its still wet over here, its been pouring non stop! Mud everywhere but should be drying up soon.

Since working I seem to be a magnet for minging substances, a few weeks ago I was always covered in pus! It has now progressed to Dog poo! I am not kidding every large animal call I go I manage to tread in dog muck Or even if a dogs pooed in the clinic it seems to find my shoes! I actually changed my shoes 3 times in one day.

Had an absolute disgusting RTA today when a dog came in with its entire eye on a stalk! Itt was a wee b****** too and bit my boss and tried to bite me and Alison too. However I x-rayed its back and it broke its spine so now is in doggy heaven!

Then we went to castrate this minature stallion, he was cute as but due to his size we had to knock him down and the b***** was resistant to ketamine and just started freakin and wouldn’t fall down even though in the end it should have been outcold for at least a day with the amount we gave it! So the little dude kept his nuts for another day. Again I managed to tread in a huge pile of dog poo!

Alison and I have started attending a regular yoga/tai-chi session as it gets us into civilisation. Its pretty cool and we certainly stretch those limbs baby!

Oh my god I watched “wolf creek” the other night and nearly died for those of you who don’t know its about a group of backpackers who go to western Australia to the butt end of nowhere called wolf creek where they get horrifically tortured and murdered! Nice!!!! Ahhhhh Lydia I watched it!!!!

On a nicer note, its getting all Christmassy which is so weird seeing the decorations going up when its going to be hot.

The garden is growing well and cant wait to eat the yummy food, turning into an old pensioner here!

On the wine front I have been sampling loads a reds, which is all new as I’m a complete white junky and of course the cider. Wine is soo big over here and with my bosses never ending supply (grows and makes his own) and the closeness of the vineyards in the huntervalley.
