Well, Koh Lanta did rain- a lot! Was miserable weather for 3 days, but we stilll managed to have lots of fun as we met some really nice people in our guesthouse (well actually, we met them in the bar). We stayed on a really lovely quiet beach called Kantieng Beach on the south of the island. Hi guys, Well after an overnight boat journey from hell (complete with wasted 18 year olds) we reached Koh Phangnan for the full moon party. We found a really nice place to stay, our own little bungalow on the beach with the best food ever. Hi everybody, all we've really done over the past few days is lie in the sun and do a bit more snorkelling. Sunday morning we sat on the beach for a little more then we caught the boat over to Koh Phuket, the biggest island in Thailand. We spent the night in Phuket town, apparently in the same guest house that was used in the film 'the Beach' as the place where the main character (Leonardo DiCaprio for those who don't know) stayed. Our pictures really dont do this place justice. It's paradise! Realy fine white sand, amazingly clear water, tropical fish and limestone cliffs surrounding it. Wow! Sorry if I'm making you all jealous- nah, I'm not really. It's fab!! The rainy season is starting here so it's rianed a bit but the skies have cleared for long enough for us to top up our tans a bit.
