well another day on the bus brought us to the beautiful coral bay where we met up with mummy and breeze! On our first day we went on an amazing wildlife cruise where we started by spotting Humpback Whales! They were in a playful mood apparently and were splashing around all over the place! Then we went in search of the Manta Rays! After spotting a couple about 3 meters wide........we jumped in the water where you basically had to be an olympic swimmer to keep up with them! I managed it for a while until i realised i was the only one still following it and the boat was quite far away!............this then led to the usual worries of 'oh my god what if i get eaten by a shark'! Luckily the boat came to get me as soon as i started waving my arm desperately in the air! We got to go in a few times and i have to say the rays are incredible! Mummy and tiff got a good look too although tiff had to keep pulling her along so they could keep up with the ray! Next we went turtle spotting which is something i had been waiting for all day! I have never seen one and i cant believe how big they are! I did get a bit carried away now and announced that there were hundreds of them................only to be told that they were rocks! whoops!!!! The next few days were spent sunbathing and relaxing in the sea! Yesterday we went out on the quad bikes which was so much fun! racing along at 70 k's an hour along the beach! At first i was a bit worried as i had a manual bike whilst the others had automatics! However, anyone that came in my old diesel fiesta tank will know that i love getting the revs up and changing gears like a racing driver! We went across some flat beaches with amazing blue water and then through the sand dunes before stopping for a bit of snorkelling! Tiff was the psycho driver in front of the guy who was showing us the way..................whist mummy and breeze were a bit futher behind but i cant believe how well they did! we all had a great time and i think we are all glad that when you are speeding along the beach at 70km an hour, no-one except you can hear your crazy screams of joy!
