Hi,

So my flight was good, didn't sleep a wink, however did manage to watch three movies. Was sat next to the eastern European face twin of Steve Buscemi (crazy eyes!) which was great fun, so the only conversation I managed to have was to answer the food related questions the flight attendent occasionally threw my way... 'Chicken or Lamb?' and 'would you like a drink?' etc.

Took about an hour to get though customs - They've got all my prints now and scanned my eyes - Criminal Activity will have to come off my list of things to do in New York city now. Doh.

When I got through to the other side, I got a Yellow Taxi to Kristen's Apartment in Brooklyn. She lives on the corner of a main street and is close to the Subway and local stores which is very convenient. We just hung out at her apartment watching TV and got some pizza etc. Later on today we're going to go into Manhattan and have a look around and then go out for St. Paddy's day. There's a big parade on near Time Square which we may see if we get there in time.

Will probably go on a boat trip around Statan Island tomorrow to see the Statue of Liberty. The rest of the week I will be doing my best not to get mugged!
