Quick update - Courtney and I visited a museum yesterday called Sofia Reina in Madrid. We got to see some wonderful works by Picasso and Dali, and an exhibition by Juan Munoz which included a room full of identically dressed smiling Asian men. The exhibit made us both feel very happy, because everyone was smiling. Not always a typical thing in Spain, we are finding. ;) We also navigated the Metro, and we didn´t have too many problems. Hello everyone! We made it to Madrid! NO flight problems, so that was a great way to start this trip! Madrid is really beautiful - Courtney and I fought jet lag today and spent the afternoon walking some of the main streets through downtown, and we finally settled at a really pretty park, sat in the grass, and watched street performers.
