10 things about Korea; 5 things I love- and 5 things I hate about Korea:
1) To get my nails done every week (but I really need to get them done to overcome my exhaustion after 6 hours of class with only 3 times 15 minutes break (which I use to run from one building to the other -of course its uphill- and only if the teacher doesn't talk 15 min extra) -now you know why I NEED to get my nails done every Thursday^^
2) Too see more fashionable people than in Berlin (almost, but I must admit I see at least as many hello kitty girls..)
3) That you go out for dinner almost every night -and that's the cheapest way. Also, that you eat lunch and what you eat is spicy and hot and mostly fat free -yummi
4) It is so convenient to be here , the weather is nice, the gym is in the basement and for free, the school next door, and a super cheap cafeteria on the other side of the building..(AND there is great atmosphere here in the city)
5) That it is totally acceptable always to be a bit late -the traffic, you know
5 Things I hate about Korea
1) That some of the teachers don't want to be bothered by exchange students
2) That young woman turn into teenagers, giggling and laughing when being asked something in English, i.e. nobody understands you when you get off campus :(
3) The Embarrassment and physical pain I feel when Korean students are having a presentation; by starting out with praising their teacher (what a good teacher he is, talented and nice...), or giggling half way through it, or violating the english language when answering unprepared question (and thus no perfect-english-answers are preformulated, however unfortunately this is also the case for most german exchange students..)
4)That you are not allowed to try the clothes!!!!!
5) That you always have to pay higher prices on everything; sometimes even have to sit at a special table, and other times again you have to pay your drinks directly when ordering it, just because you are a foreigner.
