I pulled a late night last night and stayed up until 4:30 this morning working a paper and was up again at 9:30 this morning ready to hit up the castle. Several highlights today... We took a boat trip up the river to the Hellbrunn Palace. It was completed in 1619 by the Prince-Archbishop of Salzburg. The Prince had a thing for playing practical jokes on guests and to entertain himself, built the trick water gardens. Salzburg is small and quiet. The air is fresh and the sun is finally showing his face again. But if I had some red sparkly shoes I would be pulling a Dorothy right now. Here's to going home to Charleston.
