We landed in Cape Town on Sunday, Sept 22. Our flight was delayed from Botswana so we arrived quite late. We stayed with Seko and Miriam for the first two nights. We had a great couple of days with them and went out to beautiful Stellenbosch for wine tasting (I, Claire, had to have a lie down after having two samples)! We took the cable car up Table Mountain and had a great dinner at Pigalle (thank you again Megan)! Megan returned to Australia on Wednesday. We were very sad to see her go and are missing her :-( We were then lucky enough to join our family (Lynne, Neil, Duncan and Andy) on a holiday to Greyton. Greyton is a picturesque village, two hours from Cape Town, surrounded by mountains and rivers. We hiked up one of the mountains on Thursday and we are still recovering! It was great spending time with the family. For our last night together, we had dinner at 'Dunes' overlooking Hout Bay. Now we are in transit awaiting our flight to Rio. Although we weren't able to catch up with everyone, we are very grateful to have come to Cape Town again, it is such a beautiful place x
