hey everyone,

Just got back from the whitsunday islands yesterday. I am completely in 2 minds about whether i enjoyed it or not. It absolutely pissed it down on the first day and because of poor organisation we got soaked through including our backpacks so all our stuff was wet and because it is so humid up here it took three days to dry. When we on the boat it was quite rocky a lot of the time and i felt very sick. A lot of the girls actually were sick and in the toilet instead of over the side like they were told to. So our crew hated us for that and brought us back early on the 3rd day. We were back by 1pm. Another problem was me and jo befriended an irish guy on the first day which was actually st. paddy's day and he got really drunk and aggressive and was just generally an ass hole to everyone. We were supposed to be in his room but we moved and got a room to ourselves.

Other than those issues i had a really good time. When the sun was out it was gorgeous. Most of the people were really nice, the food was excellent. We went snorkelling twice and i didn't find nemo but i did find dory and i saw loads of different fish the second time we went snorkelling. We went swimming on white haven beach, although it was very cloudy. And i am hoping that me and jo can find nemo when we go to port douglas.

Last night we stayed at a koala's backpackers resort, and today we are just chilling out. Tonight we are getting a coach up to cairns. It takes 10 hours so not too bad. When we get there we will hopefully meet up with the girls we met in surfer's paradise. I didn't take loads of photo's on the boat coz i didn't want to get my camera wet but i will put more pics up soon.
