Ready, Steady, Go…..

Ok so I'll admit it, I'm ready to leave Mexico & have been for days. I'm doing another lap of the places I've already seen with Farah & really I would just like to get to Caye Caulker in Belize asap, but alas I can't as the Hostel I'm in is booked till 2nd Jan. (all the other Hostels seem to have been reviewed as having bedbugs)

I like Mexico & I really liked Mexico when Farah was here but it's pretty much full of just Aussies & Israeli's where I am at the moment. This isn't a bad thing as I've met a lovely Israeli girl, Tali, & some other Israeli guys but I miss the banter you get with other English people…I could do with a laugh at the moment. (Let's just say ripped lip, completely bloodshot red eyes & in a lot of pain in both areas..baahahaha my face just loves being an a*sehole to me).

I leave for Playa Del Carmen for NYE on Wednesday & I'm more looking forward to that because there's a whole range of nationalities in the Hostel & feels like there is more going on in general (plus a frigging Starbucks. Oh life's sweet sweet little pleasures). I might even try to goto another Cenote or do something like Quad biking just to do something different other than just lazing about!

I'm itching to get to Central America, right now I feel like I'm on some weird sort of vacation rather than doing anything adventurous or amazing. It's been really nice to relax, get a tan etc but now it's time to have things shaken up I think :)

So as fast as I'm having an emo day & a bit of a whinge, it quickly turns into a fantastic day!

Quick run through;

Saying goodbye to Tali on the beach, only for her to come back as her new flight had also been cancelled, seems she's stuck with us till NYE!

Biking around the Island for a couple of hours, loving the exercise. Seeing turtles & seahorses ahhhhhhh

Amazing curry pita & while eating slagging off German people (just a little) with Jordie (she is Dutch so we're aloud to) only to find two Germans behind us hahaha whoops

Going to Shebar for Salsa to find it pumping out house music & almost being drawn into a dance off with two guys (one apparently was a dancer for Shakira or someone haha yeah suuuure)

The smell of clean laundry, orgasmic!!!!!!

Off to Playa today to get ready for NYE. Weathers been a bit poor but I don't mind for once as my face needs time to un-deform it's self :)

Buenos Dias

What a FANTASTIC night, just what I needed!!! Met 2 girls Tasha met last year out here & got smashed, went to a club then another club. Met a guy who actually danced EXACTLY like me hahahah. Class. Im wasted but so happy. GOOD TIMES. Fantastico!!!!!!!!!!! Also met Mankini man hahahaha so funny, will tell more later :) Could have danced till sunrise LOVE IT… Love you all xxx
