Wow! Sorry for the length of time between blogs. I've just been so busy seeing the sights! After leaving Melbourne I went on to Sydney and met up with my cousin's husband who showed me around. We had a brilliant time. Got there late on Tuesday 11th September so started at 8am Wednesday 12th September. Well, I reckon I've had the whirlwind tour of Melbourne. Its a great city, really European. Most places have English names which is quite funny. I've been staying in the suburb Canterbury and been popping over to Kew! Melbourne has a real 'coffee culture' which is nice and the people have been really friendly. The markets at St Kildas (the beach) and South Bank are totally worth a visit - there's so much funky cool stuff. Just wish I had more space in my bag! Off...

Finally got my luggage on Tuesday, so went and visited a Queensland winery called Sirromet. Its only been operating since 2000 but the wine is really good - as I got in a tasting. Yesterday I was co-opted into going with my cousin Shelley to her daughter Zali's school to help with the reading groups.
