Little Kirsty Ventures to Pastures New
Set off along the road to the internet café to type up my blog as I was very behind in my entries. Spent most of the day getting up to date, while Darren did his own jazz online. It was a really snazzy internet café. Koh Chang is not built up at all, so it was pretty much a caravan, with chik, boutique design. It had a huge plasma screen for watching films and a coffee maker for great lattés. So it was quite comfortable sitting on the vintage chairs, typing away and sipping on a coffee. We rushed back to catch the sunset, which was a bit hidden by cloud but still good. Then out we went to check out the restaurants along the beach. There was only really one, which was called Nature Rocks". There was a library, a bar and the restaurant. Every night, they put on a bit bbq, cooked inside the hull of an old wooden canoe and had all of the daily catch on show to chose from. There were mega impressive Barracuda and Red Snapper. We sat with the waves, deserted beach and starry sky ahead- beautiful. I was just thinking how pretty the waitress was when she came over to take our order and the low tone of her/his voice was apparent! Again, maybe a little uncomfortable for Darren! After a lovely meal, we headed back to our comfy abode.
