Hello - so here goes - first blog entry on my time away from Keele!!! Well I am in Bangkok - I made it all the way here!! The flights were great - no delays - good food - loads of movies and loads of games to keep even me occupied!! (You could link up and play against other passangers which passed some time - thanks for the tip Carol!). Real knive and forks on the plane - no plastic rubbish for me!!!! Was sitting next to a lovely family of 3 who were going to visit family in the Phillipines - there little boy was adorable and he loved my Morrisons sweets (thanks Beth!!). The biggest shock so far (apart from the real cutlery on the plane) has been an Arab gentleman asking me to be his wife - which I am sure was only in jest - but honestly you cannot take me anywhere!! (Sorry mum did not find out his profession or his bank balance!!) Anyway - transfer from airport to Hotel was easy enough. Got here at 10.30am ish our time (gosh I sound like a local already!!) room not ready until 1pm - so have taken myself for something to eat (not broken the bank only spent 1 pound on breakfast!!!) Have sorted out sightseeing for tomorrow morning (8am start - who said this was a holiday!!). In need of a shower and then a swim and maybe a foot massage (gosh it's a hard life) - all this and you guys will not be out of bed yet!!!

Had a walk around Koh San Road and it is pretty crazy already - lots of things to spend my Bhat on!! Got to watch the weight allowance - I was 17kg coming out (thought Teresa and Sarah J may like to know that after my stress of what should / should I not take last week) so got some room for shopping!!

Weather - well it is very humid - cloudy - look like there has been rain this morning as well - although not seen any yet!

Well that is about it for now - Hotel seems nice (the internet cafe is cheaper than those on the main road!)

Have been asked at least 100 times already if I want a Tuk Tuk ride - so may have to oblidge after some relaxation by the pool.
