this photo is definitely not what lima looks like but i havent uploaded my photos yet! so we flew from sunny cuzco and landed in cloudy, cold lima. the flight though was great and sooooo happy we did that and didnt take a plane!

our taxi took us the half hour or more to miraflores which is where we stayed for 2 nights, in the flying dog. shattered we needed to stay across the road from the good one with the bar (there are 4 flying dogs in centro miraflores) but anyway the rooms were ok where we were apart that mine and matts room was LOUD and we couldnt sleep! so in the arvo we headed across the road to the other bar and drank there with the wikkid bar tender harry! the bar was great in that it was tiny, harry let us do whatever, and we could put our ipod on through the speaker! the pool table sucked in that the pockets like all the other ones here are too small to actually get a ball in... but it was fun nonetheless. sooo we drank pink b****es that night... GREAT drink! 2 for s/25 which is ummm $10 aus for 2. they were yummmm and harry just kept making them for us all night! the most hilarous thing (joel you will LOVE this) is that we met up with the guys we had been hanging around with, Fi, Andrew and Alex. Fi noticed that like always matt was dancing up a storm in the bar (ok to be honest so were me and seb but matt seems to do it with more FLARE! hehe) so she wanted him to do the worm/catepillar or whatever everyone calls it... matt tries (this is around 8pm) and ends up with an enormously split chin! then harry is like - hey man the best thing for that is lemon juice and salt (????!?!?!?!) and proceeds to put this on matts very split chin... ok it was funny but it REALLY must have hurt matt and he is just lucky hed had a few drinks so he probably didnt feel it too much! anyway dont know why harry suggested it, matt reckons he just wanted to see him cringe haha. so i turned around and looked at these 3 people playing pool and thought hey they look like nurses, and they were like no... sorry but we´re doctors... im like sweeeeet! so we ended up with the girl giving us her razor and me helping matt in the guys toilets shaving him and putting these clip things on him... haha cant believe it all happened but the good thing is that it has cleared up really well... we went to the chemist and got some cream which has been good for it and a week later its doing well! funniest thing ever though.

sadly the next day was our last with the group and seb. we had lunch with fi and alex and said goodbye to the crew... then horribly sadly seb had to leave the next morning. i was so sad that i ended up bawling on the street in front of her taxi! i have just had the most amazing holiday with her... nothing went wrong, no fights, no problems, everything was easy, and we helped each other.

Seb was an amazing travelling partner and i couldhave travelled with her for years. thanks for the fun sebba, the intense laughter, for helping me through all the hard times and when i was sick, for taking me for who i am and being such a great friend over the past 8 weeks. love ya chick and will be missing you for the rest of my trip...
