From Brisbane we went to Noosa, the drive wasn't too long on the bus but still had to leave at 7am!!!

This was the bus that i meet Kristina (kiki) on. Didn't chat that much to one another but how things changed later on!!

So arrived in the Noosa, stayed at the YHA which was a really nice hostel, was kind of like a beach house. The beach was like a 5 minute walk which was perfect. The shops were lovely, small little boutique beach shops, spent a wee bit! First day just ended up laying on the beach. An hour before i put cream on & plus the sun wasn't even out. Anyway got back to the hostel & i looked in the mirror & i was burnt!! Couldn't believe it, i'd been so careful, i even had panda eyes :( Was not happy. Had to lava myself up with aloe vera, i caked myself. Ended up staying in the hostel that night, was good just to chill out with some of the guys hanging around.

Next day i went to the Australia Zoo, with Glynn & Vicky, an english couple who were on my bus. It rainded for the first part of the morning, it was sooooo bad. We got to the Zoo & bought ponchos, check me out in the pics :) When it rains it does put a damper on things but it was still so much fun. Saw loads of kanagroos, koalas, dingos, elephants...everything. Went ot the Croc Show which was great. Lucky enough we were there when Steve Irwins famliy were there. His daughter performed some songs with her Croc Boys & then her mum Terri Irwin came out & did the feeding of the crocs. So i think we were very lucky to see all that. Thankfully after that the rain eased.

Wanted to get my pic taken with a python but they closed the line when i got there. I asked the guy & gave him a little wink to let me in but it was a no..no..Had my pic taken with Steve Irwin though, obviously it was taken with a blue screen behind me. Was so worth the $17, its a one off.

The Australia Zoo is great & i'm not surprised there expanding it even more & they even want to build a hotel there. Think they want to make in into like a Disneyland adventure park.

Being an old girl i was tucked up in bed early that night, i was worn out. Was off to Hervey Bay the next day but we weren't being picked up until 12pm, so not an early start thank god.
