What a cool day... First of all we said our goodbyes to Tom's family who had been looking after us for the past few days and made our way back to Flagstaff station, to our hostel. After sorting out lots of boring admin-y stuff we were picked up for our 'day trip' (sound like OAP's - it wasn't!) Last night we had a fab meal with all of Tom's family (Auntie Rosie, Uncle Peter, Cousin Olivia, Cousin Alex and Girlfriend of Cousin Courtney!). OH MY GOD... LAST NIGHT... I MET TOADIE, STEPH AND PAUL! Last night's 'Neighbours Night' was hillarious, I had such a laugh. Basically; it was held in a traditional English pub (the Elephant and Wheelbarrow) and we were all asigned to tables with other randomers. For two hours they kept us in suspense before finally bringing the stars out. It was quite good though coz we got to chat and meet other people etc... Today we woke up (from our homely beds at Tom's auntie's!) to a lovely big brekkie to set us up for the day. We chatted and chilled for a bit then headed back to our hostel on the train where we had our first encounter with Australian Chav... I've never heard the word pom so many times in my life. Urgh... Today we wandered into the market again, picking up some gorgeous fresh fruit for brekkie. The market is awesome; you can get anything you like from fresh fruit, meat, veg, fish, bread, clothes, souvenirs, delicatessans... Its great!! Anyway, later on Tom's uncle Peter picked us up and drove us to their house in the middle of the Dandanong Ranges to the east of Melbourne. Its amazing; they live right in the middle of the National Park [nowhere!] but its beautiful...
