Today we went to Taronga Zoo - it was so cool, I'd be here forever if I went through all the animals we saw; koalas, wallabies, reptiles, snakes, tasmanian devil, an amazing seal show, penguins, giraffes, zebras, gorillas, chimpanzees, rhinos, hippos and lots lots more! At first today was a really boring admin-type day sorting out dates, photos, flights etc... but after all that was out the way (it was dark by this time!) we decided we wanted to go to Mary Macquaries Chair to view the bridge and opera house at night. Today we were all extremely hungover and noone else wanted to go so I took myself off to Palm Beach as I was desperate to see the famous site and of course see the home of the greatest show ever... HOME & AWAY! It was quite a long journey there (two hours on the bus) but it was a good oppertunity to pass through some suburbs and other every other day things you wouldnt normally see in the city. Well after waking up slightly stiff and sore we checked out of our hostel and began the mission of finding another. It turned out really easy and we got into one just down the road (Base - Wanderers on Kent, Kent Street). What an eventful day. Basically it was another early start to take a visit to the Blue Mountains. The journey wasn't too long and we stopped off to see the Olympic Park which was pretty cool, its exciting to think London will have something like that in a few years!
