Hey again!

Well just spent a couple of days in Boston! Had a short nights sleep at a dodgy motel near the airport on Thursday before the 5-hour flight on Friday. Arrived dinnertime in Boston due to time changes (now GMT-5 hours) and we are staying in a hostel here due to the extortionate prices of accommodation in Boston. We feel like students again as we are right in the middle of Berkley campus area. Apparently during term time half of the population is students in Boston&Cambridge. We found an amazing restaurant with all homemade food on Friday which ultimately ended in us going there for dinner every night (3 nights)!!! On the last night the chef came out to talk to us to thank us for coming and gave us a free dessert! It was soooo nice&extremely popular! We were just so relieved to be away from chips!! yuk!! Mum some homecooked meals my way plllleeeaasseee!

Saturday we went out to Cambridge and got a free 70-minute walking tour all around the campus which was so pretty. Alot of the older buildings were a bit like Queen's Lanyon Building. Everyone there lives in self-catered halls. We did a bit of shopping and headed back early due to the fact a mayor snow-storm started!! Was very exciting-of course as usual the next morning alot of it had thawed already! Today (Sunday) we took the hop-on-hop-off trolley around Boston and got off at the original 'Cheers' bar from the TV show as you can see. We also went to the Science Museum which has a massive Harry Potter exhibition on for a couple of months. The exhibition is travelling around all the major museums in the world and its all original props from the movie. We both got sorted into houses! I was Hufflepuff-Loyal,Honest & Hardworking! There was almost every costume you have seen on the different characters and lots of extra small things like wands, books,necklaces etc. They even had the orginal Fat Lady painting with Dawn French singing and one of the chess pieces from the massive Chess board! Unfortunately it was a museum so we weren't allowed to take any photos.

Tomorrow we are getting the megabus to NYC so will chat to you after then!
