Kia Ora peeps.... well we arrived in the big city of auckland on the 23rd august after our chilled out fijian adventure.... and do u know what we wanted a big juicy burger so our one day in auckand was spent pretty much looking for that and after we didnt find it being upset the rest of the time....!!! So we moved on with 'magic bus' (our ride for teh next 3 weeks) for a day around the coromandel a series of gorgeous little villages and beaches.... first stop was hot water beach where we built our own hot water springs in the sand just what we needed in the new zealand winter after fiji! We then went on a beautiful walk around cathedral cove and finished the day with fish and chips and a movie in a cute seaside town. The next day we headed to waitimo caves the glowworm caves where we were very adventourous and did black water rafting in the FREEZING cold water (full of eels?!) in the dark... but all good fun!!! That night we headed south to roturua a town that stinks of rotten eggs... nice?! and headed to a traditional maori village where we were entertained with haka dance, sexy food and scary men... the next day was a very important day as kim and laura decided to join the adrenaline spirit of new zealand by deciding to add a skydive to the day how brave are we...?! to pass the time we walked around all the hot springs in roturua which gives it its smell and saw all the volcanic activity (lol was very scared!!) and then the time came for the skydive and so did the clouds... so we went to bed kinda relieved (especially kim who was dying to find a way to get out of it) But oh no at the crack of dawn the next day laura awoke to find a gorgeous sunny day.... dragged kim out of bed and before we knew it we were jumping out of that plane at 12,000 over a giant volcanic crater (lake taupo)... ahh!! But wow we loved every second and what an experience (as u well know ali!!) to celebrate we spent the night in the hot tub with a bottle of wine... perfect!! The next morining we headed to our final stop in the north island windy wellington where shock horror we spent the day in a museum - te papa and actually loved every second, was such a cool museum!! And in the evening we finally got our burgers..yum!! Loved the north island every inch was beautiful and even more so in the south... yey!!! and to get there we to fly in a tiny jet plane over the cook strait very scary more so than the skydive but we will tell u all about it when we finish the south island which is in less than a week :( scary how quick this trip is goin.... anyway hope u are all well... loving the messages Miss you all... And thank you girls (plus berni) for getting some winchcombe shout outs in!! p.p.p.s And another special shout out also for gorgeous little isabella who looked amazing on her 1st birthday... you looked so trendy with your little friends wish we were there!! p.p.p.p.s And clo exactly a month today til we see you :) so excited!!! p.p.p.p.p.s on our magic bus they tell lotsa riddles to keep us entertained so heres one of them for u and first one to guess gets a surprise from nz on our return... ok there is a cabin in the middle of a forest with seven people dead inside... in the cabin there are windows that don't open and a door that does... how did they die? post your answers asap!!!
