Hey peeps... sooo sorry 4 the lack of postacrds and piccies for the last month... we have been such busy girlies on our whistle stop tour of OZ.!! But at last here they are!! We canot belive that we have come to the end of our Australian travels and that i now only have under 2 weeks b4 i come home (but have missed everyone like crazy and soooo excited bout seeing you all and will lol is mega exicited bout seeing you!! (And of course dadio we cant wait till our dad and daught adventures in bangkok)

We have both loved Oz, We started ouir time here in Sydney which really made us belive that we had finally arrived (and the ample piccies of teh opera house and bridge prove it! We spent our few days here taking in the views of the city, visited the famous bondi beach and got the ferry to Manl;y whioch had spectular views of the opera house by night. LOl was also made up as Bret Stark!!??? from Neighbours (ages ago) Cherlys son worked at our hostel and she got a photo with him, and you know what a neighbours geek she is! Had a crazy pm out too in sydney with peeps we had made in new zealnad and took full advantage of the free chamapers!

Then wwee made our way up the east coast by the greyhound bus. Byron bay was a cute little town (which i know roomie loved!) with lots of surfer dudes.  Next stop was Brisbane whcih we werent that impressed with after Sydney so made our way to the Gold coast where the good weather started and we got to work on those tans! In Noosa we met up with our Aussie friend we hasd met in South America and showed us her home town from a locals viewpoint which was cool.  We loved Noosa and went for the most gorgeous lunch and cocktails on the beach (actually didnt feel like a backpacker for once and made a refreshing change from pasta (yep... unfortnuatly the sexy meals are slowly disaperaing due to lack of funds!) From Noosa we went to the Australia Zoo (the home of the late Steve Irwin) It was such a fab zoo but we went the day after the memorial service so it was so sad as flowers and cards were everywhere. But we saw lots of crocs and got to cuddle a koala which are now offically our fav animals.

Next stop was Rainbow beach for a base for our 3 day adventure to Fraser Island. Well Fraser was offically our best time yet in oz. We had a wkd group of peeps from sweeden, germany and ireland who we spent three days with exploring the lsland from a 4x4 jeep driving on the beach (lol did an excellent job and motorway driving will never been seen in the same light again! The island was beautiful and went to the stunning lake Mackenzie, Indain head where we spooted dolpins, whales, sharks, manta rays, stingers (hence why we cant swim in the sea... just a tad dangerous!! Lol was a bit disaponited as she wanted to see a great white shark...!! It was proper camping in the bush, eating from pans, washing in the sea and peeing in the bush in the dark.. really felt like we were in the jungle of im a celebrity get me out of here!! Not to mention all the drinking games lol innititaed. Really was so much much fun (however we felt well skanky after not showering for 3 days!)

we then went to a town called 1770 (was such a cool place) really untouristy and unspoitl place which we loved.  Only had a ady but spent the day ghjaving a surfing lesson (which we could both stand up was very proud of us... lots of fun after me not wanting to do it.) Then another Kim moment was the afternoon riding around the town on a chooper (i soo couldnt do it... lol couldnt stop laughing as i was about a mile behind the rest of the group! But lol took to it like a natural! We then watched the sunset with a beer and wedges (proper little biker chicks!)

Then spent 3 days saling on the whitsundays... (dan you would have loved it ( we were still bloody swaying  for 3days afterwards) Spent the days snorkling in the great barrier reef and seeing the lush whiteheaven beach (and me feeling a bit sick..We had such a small boat and you know me and my sea sickness so was very proud that i wasnt sick!!! Also slpet in a swag under the stars on the deck which was cool!!

We then headed to magnetic island, whee we stayed in such a nice backpackers just on teh beach (was well social and met lots of peeps there who we had a few drinkies with!! A highlight of our trip had to be the day we hired a barbie car and explored the isalnd, saw koalas and kangorros in the wild.. then just chilled on the beaches.

Then went to mission beach (a very tropical beach) before making our way to cairns.  We have used Cairnes as a base as not really much here (apart from our funky hostel with an all you can eat BBQ (and oh my god i swear i have never been that full!! We went to cape tribulation and port douglas for a few days, where the rainforest meets the reef, was soo mad being in the tropical rainforest.  Went crocidle spotting along the Daintree river, now all that is left to see is a snake(lol wants too im not particular bothered... seen soo many liitle beasties!)

We left cairns and headed to central Austrila to the famous Ayres rock after a 3 hr flight. What a contarst to the greenery of the east coast.  The red sand and desert heat made us really feel like we were in the outback. Saw the rock cahnging colours with cahmpagne at sunset, the sunrise viewing which meant getting up at 4am.. was a little harder as you can imagin (sooo tired!!!)

Now back in carins and just off for dinner and drinks with some of the guys we met in Fraser to enjoy our final few nights in oz.  Finishing with a sisterly kim and lol sexy dins and vino (typical ward sisters).  Before our final 10 days together in thailnad (in the moonsoon seasoon though.. opps! so looks like it will be raining for 10 days sraight... oh well i think it will prepare me for my england return. Gonna soo miss lol and the travelling life but excited bout seeing you all. Roomie cant wait to catch up with tea and cake  and move in togther in our new pad, Izzy you have grown so big and cant wait to give you a big big hug (and your mummy), Joey... cant wait for you to fill me in on all your goss.. go girl, Dan cant wait for a kimbo and dan pm.., Sharon.. counting the days till our next extravaganza and uni peeps will be soo nice to hear how you are all getting on with school bet you are fab.

Hol.. cant belive your will broke his leg.. you will have to explain more, El... get you!! Planning events with the stars very jealous. Nicky.. stop getting so drunk!
