Today we went to aquaventure at Atlantis. I overslept so we were up really late.... missed breakfast and spent about an hour applying thick, factor 50+ sun cream. Lucky for us jess had a vanilla plait pastry from the flight stashed away! YUM,

We finally reached Atlantis and omgggggggg! I have never seen anything like it. It's beautiful, and the beach is out of this world. White sand, clear, warm sea and the heat was bliss! We settled on the beach for a while, content enough to just listen to our iPods and do some reading and of course we had a little paddle in the sea.... (Yes amy north)I got in the sea with a few fish

THEN WE HEADED OFF IN SEARCH OF SOME RIDES..... BASICALLY....

You don't have to get off your rubber ring to go on any of the rides! it's the laziest water park ever, perfect for me and jess. We grabbed a double rubber ring and headed for the slides. They even have conveyer belts to take the rubber rings up ramps. soon we whirling, twirling and splashing down blacked out slides. We also went on a vertical slide called (leap of faith) you should google it! I almost wet myself I was petrified! Jess even made me go first so that I couldn't run back down after she had gone down the chute (damn her for knowing me so well)

The highlight of the day however was going on shark attack. on this flume you ride in your rubber rings down this huge chute into a clear tunnel inside the aquarium tank so you can see all the fish!!!! There were sharks and stingrays and in short It was out of this world. The lost chambers aquarium also made our aquariums look rubbish.... The tanks were enormous and there were cushions on the floor where you could sit and watch. Ohhhhh and we held a starfish aswell!

Everyone also keeps asking if we're sisters!!!! We think its because we're both white with blonde-ish hair.

Anyways we've just got in and I've been downstairs waiting to get wifi and talking to a Pakistani couple over here on their honeymoon. They asked me if they could take a picture with me as they hadn't seen an English woman!!! I feel so foreign! I told jess and she actually just wet herself (but this may be because I'm sporting the curly hair look at the moment)
