Hello and 'yes' we are finally here to update and tell you what we have been up to for the last few months.... sorry to keep you hanging on from the last update.... i had every intension of updating it within the week but forgot...... sorry!! So Fiji.... Ahhhhhh 'yes' sun, sand and more sun..... 'Oh' and not forgetting the bounty rum of course!!!! So, i left off when we got back from the beautiful Islands and got an interview to get paid for lying in the sun, well we got the job, and had to wait for a week until the work began, but that was ok because all of our accomidation and food was being paid for by Granada.....'YES'........ Granada...... So we hung out for a week with Amanda, went to the coral coast and had some bad weather.... it actually rain for a day i think??? anyways back to Nadi where we were picked up by the lovely Rebecca who was to be our new baby sitter and take us to a lovely 5* hotel, where we ordered room service (all paid for) and unpacked our massive bags to decide what we wanted to keep with us, all books, music, pens and paper had to stay behind. We had our medicals, by a doctor that i'm really not sure was a doctor and given the 'OK', so after all of this fuss we finally got to meet the producer and directors........'Oh...did i tell you this was all for Celebrity Love Island????' Well we had to be the little test dummies the week before the celebrities arrived on the island....... all cool we got to sleep in the beds first and swim in the pool first and just have a brilliant time in a house that was like being in a 5* hotel.... just awesome, although we had to be constantly filmed so it was like being on Big brother i suppose. The other people that went in with us where amasing, all really nice travellers with loads of stories to tell an just a wicked group of people. Kim and her 'Date' won their task for the day so they got to climb coconut trees for the afternoon and make cocktails.... me on the other hand... well i got in some well needed Bombing pratise and managed to break my Microphone not once, nope not even twice but 5 times....... with a final warning to stop bombing the pool.... great so back to working on my tan... all good!!! We got to meet the presenters of the show who had to do run throughs with us, so that was all cool as well... but very weird!!! The last day was the weirdest as we all had to be up early to do some filming that was being sent back to the UK to see if it was ok, and then we had to pack up our stuff and head out of the house, all very weird as when we came out all of the workers just looked at us, and we really did feel like celebrities as believe it or not we did forget about the cameras and it just felt like being in a hostel, so to get out and have people say i watched you lot when you all did blah.... was really weird as many of the workers watched us around the clock... crazy....... So out of the house and dropped off at Tai's house/farm. Tai was one of the guys in the house who lived in Fiji 'oh' and also the fiji pin-up for diet Coke.... 'oh yes'!! so we all decided to go and stay at his place and have some farewell drinks. All very sad as we had grown really close over the past week, but glad to be rid of the camera we all said our goodbyes, and finally after a month me and kimmy left Fiji........ don't worry Fiji we will be back.... 'oh yes' we will be back........
