We've left Brisbane now, after being there for five days, and have made our way to Surfers Paradise - The Gold Coast! Now we're in Brisbane baby! big city life at last. Our stop before here was Noosa, which was for two nights. The beaches had so many surfers on, typical Australia and a lot of expensive shops, very nice place though. But now Brisbane! We're staying at Base backpackers, right in the centre of all the action. We've only been here a day and a bit, we went to the Botanical Gardens yesterday with some friends just to chill out, followed by a roof top barbecue at night...

Finally going to Fraser Island today, yay! We were looking forward to it for ages. We had our meeting early in the morning and were split into our groups of 10 - we had a really cool group and we all got on really well, so we knew we were going to have a good time.
