hi everyone! we've been really busy the last few days. whilst in patong beach we rented out mopeds again and drove around the area. couldn't believe it - a full tank of petrol cost us 70p and lasted us for 6/7 hours!! plus the moped was only 3 pounds for the whole day! saw lots of local people, houses, temples (with lots of monkies stealing thier lunch from the bins!) we had a brilliant day kayaking around water canyons. the guides spoke brilliant english...

hi everyone, wow thanks for all the messages! very sad to leave koh samiu as it was gorge and met loads of great people. we had a fab few days, rented out mopeds and drove round the whole island, looking at waterfalls, mountains and beaches. had hot and sunny weather the whole day, then we were about 20 mins away from the hotel when it started to pour down with rain - we got absolutely soaked!! in the evening we went to thai boxing then a foam party with a fe...

hi everyone! just a quick note to say we're here safe and sound, and checked into a hostel down kohsarn road. there's lots of other backpackers here, so we're hoping to meet a good group of people. tomorrow we are off to ayuttaya for a day trip, then the following day we are going to kanchanaburi to do elephant rides, bamboo rafting and go to the tiger temple to stroke the tigers! will write again soon, love kim and emma x x x
