DAY 2:
Woke up at 6am. I know, crazy right??
But remember, we're 3 hours behind Cali. Took a walk this morning around the property and on the beach. Weather is great. We had breakfast at our hotel this morning. I had oatmeal with macadamia nuts, blueberries, strawberries and bananas. Yery yummy. Geo had a Portuguese omelet with hash browns.
After breakfast we took the tour to the Fern Grotto. We went on Smiths Tropical Plantations boat. They were very nice. There was this cute older Hawaiian man and 4 others singing Hawaiian music and 2 really cute young Hawaiian girls doing the hula. They sang the Hawaiian wedding song to us.
After the tour we drove to Old Kolula Town and had a nice lunch. Fish Tacos and calamari. Geo had a ahi tuna sandwich. Then we went to Poipu Beach. It's a great beautiful beach. Very calm and light aqua blue. Our waiter told us about a private beach and how to get there. Well we decided to check it out. So we drove and drove and grove and the road was getting rockier and rockier so we decided to turn back so we never got to see the beach but we did check out The Grand Hyatt Regency. OMG!! It's very awesome and beautiful. The pool area and lagoons are so big. I'd love to stay there. Maybe next time. On our way to the hotel. We stopped at this little local food joint called Harley's. It's delish!!!
Had Ono plate with teriyaki beef kabob. Served with rice and salad with poppyseed dressing. (I know, such a foodie!!) finished off the day in the pool and spa!!! More to come brau.....
