DAY 1:
All I can say is OMG!! Just stepping off the plane you can already see just how beautiful this island is. We were upgraded on our car to a brand new Dodge Charger. Geo is lovin it.
When we got to our hotel (Courtyard by Marriott) they upgraded us to an Ocean view room because I mentioned that we are celebrating our anniversary. It is awesome listening to the ocean.
We were starving when we got here so we ate lunch at a local place in the Coconut Maeketplace called Harley's BBQ. Great authentic Hawaiian food.
Enjoyed our beach a bit then went to the larger Marriott down the road for happy hour and pupus. They make the BEST piña coladas!! I enjoyed the hot tub a bit but was falling asleep in it so I decided to call it a night. Hawaii is 3 hours behind us so we were pretty tired. Right below our balcony floor was a man singing Hawaiian music. So we were serenaded to sleep. It's do nice sleeping with the door open to hear the surf and island breezes!! I was a great DAY 1.....
