From Donna and Clyde: Finally the sun has arrived now that we have reached Scotland. We drove north from Durham on Tuesday, stopping off at the very impressive and large "Angel of the North" at Gateshead, Newcastle on the way. We had lunch at Jedburgh and checked out the Abbey (see photos). Yesterday we had a whirlwind tour of Edinburgh in a blistering cold wind and took in the Castle and Camera Obscura. We dropped the ball a bit with our organising and hadn't pre-booked tickets to see the pandas at Edinburgh Zoo, which we had intended to do, so we have missed out on that this time round. Today we headed over to St Andrews and checked out the Old Course. Coming back to play a round of golf is definitely something to add to the bucket list (or the when we win Lotto list). Back into England tomorrow and a holiday weekend in the Lakes District - hopefully it will not be too busy!
From Molly: We are having a great time in Brittany ( our campervan). Right now we are in Edinburgh, Scotland. We have seen some amazing things including a place called Camera Obscura. It is kinda like an illusion Museum which has a mirror maze, a vortex tunnel and lots of other cool illiusions. We have also been to Edinburgh Castle and St Andrews (the home of golf) for Dad.
From Toby: The donuts are good in Scotland. I named our campervan Brittany. I got a Chelesa top. Molly is writing for me because I'm eating macaroni and cheese chips A.K.A pringles.P.S. Toby wants me to tell you that A.K.A stands for Also Known As.
