From Donna and Clyde: We left Ashbourne on Monday and headed south on the motorway to Bath where we spent the afternoon walking around enjoying the town and exploring the Roman Baths. We were all taken with our neighbour in the camping ground who had brought his cat with him which he spent a lot of time walking on a lead!
On Tuesday we headed off to Cornwall where we had lunch at St Ives (cornish pasties in Cornwall) and were disappointed not to spot seven wives with sacks full of cats and kittens. We spent the night near Lands End and headed off this morning into the mist. It was too wet to make a detour into Penzance so we haven't seen any pirates. We had also intended to head into Torquay to look for Basil, Sybil and Manuel (and Pop's pants). Unfortunately, we had some technical problems with Shirley and ended up bypassing Torquay inadvertently and ended up close to our final destination for the night (Lyme Regis) where we have spent the afternoon wandering about the English Riviera, checking out the tropical English coastline and having a pint and some chips in one of the local watering holes.
From Molly: While we were spending the night in Bath we came across a man walking a very intresting dog, here's what happened:
Toby & I were sitting up on the top bed watching a movie when Mum told us to come down and identify what animal a man was walking outside our campervan. So we got down and I saw the back of what looked like a little dog but Mum said "no", so I said it was a fox because of the colour. Then the animal turned around and I saw what it was - a cat. A cat on a lead: it was so funny we just sat there watching the man and his cat trying not to laugh as he took his cat to go do its buiseness in the garden, that's when Mum started snorting!
From Toby: Nothing much to say, no DONUTS

Jude Hi Donna, Clyde, Molly and Toby. I can't believe I only just noticed you had a blog. Great to read about your adventures, sounds like you are having an amazing hurley adventure. Toby, you are going to love the donuts in the USA, I specialised in donut eating when I was travelling there. Molly and Donna, keep shopping. Clyde, I think you would have been a royal blue m and m. All is well here, Katie persuaded me to leave her at the school gate for the first time this morning. Jack is excited about wearing his elf costume to kindy tomorrow. Sam got a great goal at soccer on Saturday. Marty is spending Mother's day playing b.golf. I have a new leather jacket from Trelise Cooper that I am very pleased about. Lots of love from Jude.
